Hey there,
You might use Superlist every day so we thought we'd share a few features that even our most active users tend to overlook. Small things that can make a surprisingly big difference in how you work.
HIDDEN GEM #1 Talk: Your voice-powered to-do assistant Long-press the + button on mobile and just start talking. Tell Superlist everything that's on your mind, it'll turn your rambling into clean, actionable tasks with due dates and subtasks. Think of it like sending a voice note to your personal assistant. → Try it: Long-press + and say "I need to finish the report by Friday and send it to the team."
HIDDEN GEM #2 Type "/" inside any list to unlock content blocks Your lists aren't just for tasks. Type / to add headings, paragraphs, images, dividers, and even sublists within a list. It turns a simple to-do list into a full project brief, meeting agenda, or trip plan, all in one place. → Try it: Open a list and type / to see all available block types.
HIDDEN GEM #3 Ask questions about your meetings — in real time After a meeting (or even during one), use the "Ask about this meeting" feature to instantly get summaries, check decisions, or find that one thing someone mentioned 20 minutes in. It's like having a searchable memory of every conversation. → Try it: Open your latest meeting notes and ask "What were the action items?"
HIDDEN GEM #4 Add Superlist to your lock screen On iOS, add the Superlist widget to your lock screen or home screen. See your tasks for the day without even opening the app or tap to add a new one instantly. → Try it: Long-press your lock screen → Customize → Add the Superlist widget.
HIDDEN GEM #5 Organize your sidebar with sections Drag your lists into custom sections in the sidebar to keep things tidy. Create sections like "Work," "Personal," or "Projects" and star your most-used lists so they're always at the top. → Try it: Open the sidebar, tap the + next to "Sections," and start organizing.
Happy listing, The Superlist Team
