[Hugging Face] Your organization vataara has been upgraded to Xet!

Hello,

We are upgrading the Hub's storage backend from Git LFS to Xet.

Xet is our chunk-based backend that already powers 50% of all Hub downloads and serves the Llama, Qwen, Gemma, and Phi model families. Now we're finishing the job by moving every remaining LFS repo to Xet.

We're emailing to let you know we've begun migrating your organization, vataara, to Xet.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Over the next few hours, your existing repos will switch to Xet.
  • New repos you create will use Xet by default.

The best news: You don't need to change anything and nothing else (outside of faster file transfers) will change for you. No downtime; no interruptions. All existing upload and download paths keep working.

To get the most out of Xet storage read the usage instructions in the Hub docs. Or, just:

pip install -U huggingface_hub
