When a maker locks a table or any of its views, all connected views will automatically be locked too — no need to manually lock each page.

With table locking, you can:

  • Prevent structural changes like deleting or modifying columns
  • Apply granular controls over who can add, edit, or delete rows
  • Give collaborators visual clarity and peace of mind when working with sensitive tables

What's the difference from page locking? Previously, locking a page only restricted the table view on that page. Now, locking a table ensures those protections are carried across all views—saving time and minimizing risk.​
